Drawing Houses Picture

The Foundation Plan The Foundation is a plan drawing, in section, that provides all of the information necessary to construct the foundation. The Foundation Plan is prepared primarily of excavators, masons, carpenters, and cement workers who build the foundation.

Some Thing the Foundation Plan Includes Foundation Wall Piers and Columns Dwarf Walls Openings in the foundation wall Complete dimensions and notes Scale of the drawing

Preliminary Steps to Drawing a Foundation Plan The Foundation Plan is drawn from information presented on the floor plan , and plot plan. This reduce the time required to make the drawing and help keep errors to a minimum. Brick Ledge it is on a foundation wall which is were the brick rest.

Drawing a Foundation Plan Drawing a foundation plan using manual drafting includes the following steps on page 261-262

The Basement/ Foundation Plan The Basement Plan is with the Foundation and Floor Plan. It includes the foundation plan and, at the same time, shows interior walls, stairs, windows, and doors in the basement. The spilt-level house is a good example of where a foundation plan is required for one section of the house and a basement plan for the other.

Procedure for Drawing a Basement Plan It is the same as a foundation plan both have steps to go by. You can see the steps on page 265-267

Using CADD To Draw a Foundation and Basement Plan Drawing a foundation plan or basement plan with CADD is the same when using manual drafting. The differences is that CADD created at full scale, and selected when the drawing is plotted. You can see steps on page 267-269.
