Test / Fitting For Your Pro Mask For clarity, the operator may elect to explain the next test to the individual just before the Soldier must accomplish it (i.e., during exercise one explain that exercise two requires deep breathing (in through the nose and out through the mouth)). Exercise 1: Normal breathing, keeping the head motionless. Exercise 2: Deep breathing, slowly but deeply inhaling through nose and exhaling from mouth. Exercise 3: Head movement side to side, looking over each shoulder in one-second intervals. Ensure the canister does not touch shoulders while performing this exercise. Exercise 4: Ensure the canister does not touch chin while performing this exercise. Head movement up and down, looking at ceiling then floor in one-second intervals. Exercise 5: Rotate chin, moving the jaw in a circular pattern with mouth slightly open. NOTE After the fifth exercise, you will hear a series of three beeps. An overall test result will then be displayed. chemicaldragon.com © 3 M41 PATS 99.5% Pure Reagent Grade Isopropyl Alcohol: NSN 6810-01-382-2904 4 Never store a mask wet; air dry Ensure lens are facing outward Store It Right To Prevent Damage Left-handed Storage Right-handed Storage chemicaldragon.com ©
