double skin facade -Used to reduce draft, thermal discomfort, insufficient air quality and lack of windows - A single glass pane is placed at the inside of the external glazing -Air enters into the glass curtain wall, heats up the surfaces and rises. The warmer the components in regards to their surrounds the greater the thermal effect -Reduction in noise penetration - The glass provides thermal protection -The façade acts like a filter to external elements such as pollution and bad weather -Reduces the energy consumption of the building circulating air
