PRESENTING A BOUQUET OF HADITH
Presentation transcript:

The Importance of Hadiths “A perfect believer is one whose heart likes the teachings of Allah [God] and His Messenger [Muhammad]” “Whoever looks after orphans is just like the one who spends his days and nights in the worship of Allah [God]”

What is a Hadith? Hadiths are the sayings of the prophet Muham- mad. These Hadiths are for Muslims to follow because Muhammad is a model in Islam. These Hadiths include how to make yourself a better person. One example is, The Blessed Prophet said: ‘A good companion is like a perfume seller.’ Spending your day in good company is like spending your day in a perfume shop: you will at the end of the day, perhaps faintly, perhaps strongly, of perfume. On the other hand, the Blessed Prophet said: ‘Don’t go near a place that has doubtful reputation and so risk yourself being accused’

What is the Importance of a Hadith? Hadiths are important because they are the key to making a better Muslim, and the best way to learn is by learning from the best Muslim who ever lived, Muhammad. If there were no Hadiths, how would Muslims become better? Muslims would be really lost in this world. Hadith Builds a Muslim stronger Increases a Muslim’s Iman (faith) Guides Muslims The sayings of Muhammad

Other Hadiths “Acquire knowledge and for gaining it, learn tranquility gravity (seriousness) and be humble and respectful towards the one from whom you are taking the knowledge,” “He is not in my community who does not give respect to our elders, does not show mercy to the young and does not show for our knowledgeable their due right of respect and service. “A man does not deserve to be called a believer if he fills his belly while his neighbor starves.” “A Muslim must not be a liar.” And he explains why: “Truth leads a man to the path of virtue, which leads him to paradise. Falsehood pulls a man to sin and sin throws him into hell.”
