2.We’ll need to have a coherent Tier0/1/2 infrastructure for storing networking performance data, monitoring and continuous testing. Joe Metzger will tell us what to do. 1. No specific plans for dedicated peer to peer networks for T1 T2. Internet2 backbone in the process of OC48->10Gig. Some sort of relationship with NLR, HOPI anticipated. 3. We can anticipate some sort of management QoS infrastructure particularly for high priority activities. Ultralight, TeraPath, + ? 4. We also need to have some sort of Tier 1/2 coherence in security infrastructure. 5. Joint planning with MIT CMS re WAN & Ultralight collab.might be a good idea. What I’m taking back to Boston…
