History Who were early settlers in the region? Pilgrims

W HY WAS THE REGION SETTLED ? The Pilgrims wanted to go to Virginia but landed in the northeast.

W HAT ARE THE CULTURES / LIFESTYLES OF YOUR REGION ? First there was native Americans, also European immigrants,. People who make a living by fishing, farmers, and factory workers.

H OW DID EARLY SETTLERS USE THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE REGION AS THEY SETTLED ? They used fish to eat.

H OW ARE RESOURCES USED TO MAKE A LIVING ? Lumber cutting down trees.
