History The Texas Legislature passed a measure estimated to increase transportation funding by as much as $1.4 billion annually if Texas voters approve it in the November 2014 election. Transportation – A Crisis Texas is facing a serious transportation crisis that nobody is talking about. We do not have enough dedicated funds budgeted to even sustain our current road conditions beyond the next two years.
