Conclusion The IDT has contributed, but is not the driver/ responsible government structure for the Mud/Inappropriate Structures Eradication programme. NDBE & Provincial DoEs are responsible Recently DBE was allocated R8.2 billion over MTEF period for an Accelerated School Infrastructure Delivery Initiative (ASIDI). As outlined in the IDT Service Delivery Model, the IDT’s work and products are dependent on the programmes it has been contracted to implement by the client department The IDT has contributed, but is not the driver/ responsible government structure for the Mud/Inappropriate Structures Eradication programme.
