Appropriate Care for iPads How to keep it clean and avoid paying fines

Your iPad for the Year Bring it to school charged Protect the screen and case Protect it from extreme heat Keep it dry Follow school rules If your iPad isn’t working or you lose it, tell the school IMMEDIATELY

Fines given for iPads Case Scratches Pen markings Broken or missing parts Screen Cracked or Broken Scratched

Case Don’t draw on your case Avoid objects or activities that would scratch your screen protector Don’t play with the tabs and covers or they might rip off Other than for cleaning, don’t take apart your case

Screens Keep the case on and secure unless cleaning Protects the iPad Once a week, take the case off and thoroughly clean the device

How to Clean the iPad Carefully take off your case (make sure you wipe down your case as well) Use a soft cloth (lint-free is best) Avoid paper towels, rough towels, or rough cloth Make sure you iPad is not plugged in Keep liquids AWAY Do not spray cleaners onto the device Spray the cloth lightly, then use on device Don’t get moisture into any opening LIQUID DAMAGE WILL RESULT IN IPAD REPLACEMENT

Things to Remember You are only BORROWING the iPad for the year Fines will be given to damaged parts and iPads If you LOSE IT – report RIGHT AWAY Take care of it
