Sharing and posting personal information These sites allow you to post videos, photos, audio files online and engage in video conversation with webcam, microphone and digital camera. But, there are some risks on blogs for example. Your personal information can be captured by the others and continue to circulate online. In order to fight it, you should post less personal information.

Meeting inappropriate people A chatroom is a big conversation with a lot of people around the world. Problems: You can meet bad persons on the internet. These persons can be a child abuser, a murderer, or just a person who has bad thinking about you. The possible risks are : The people who you get friendly with can have suspicious things in mind and they can lie about themselves, and in real life they can be very dangerous and different from what they told you. Recommendations : You should choose a user’s name. Be careful not to give out any personal information and never arrange a face to face meeting.

Addiction to the Internet There are several users of the web which consider themselves very addicted to the Internet. They play, they chat, they use social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. They spend all their free time in front of their screens. Consequently, they aren’t sociable anymore and become completely dependent. They spend less time at work and with their family. Some people can be victims of a nervous breakdown and lose weight. There is more than one solution to “be cured” of the addiction. To spend less time on the net, people should find an other activity they are keen on.

Virus s or any other thing related to the internet can contain virus with many uses, but most of thoses leads to the total destruction of your computes, by deleeting files in the very heart of your system.. Once again you souldn’t open thoses messages, and you should use an up- to-date antivirus. Some other files are also called virus, but aren’t realy virus. Those are more properly called « madwares ». The most known madwares are « addwares » and « spywares » -Adware, or advertising-supported software, is any software package which automatically plays, displays, or downloads advertisements to a computer. These advertisements can be in the form of a pop-up. The object of the Adware is to generate revenue for its author. Adware, by itself, is harmless; however, some adware may come with integrated spyware such as keylogers and other privacy-invasive software -One of the most dangerous viruses you could meet by opening one of thoses shady messages is the spyware, which doesn’t destroy your computer, but your life. This virus copy various informations and send them to it’s creator. It can be where you go on the internet. Then, it’creator will send you adds. It can also search for your credit card ID. Then, it’s creator will send you bills.

Obtaining your name on the web There are many ways to obtain your name on the web, just going on a friend ‘s blog can be a risk. But don’t worry, there are many ways to avoid the situation. - Do not click on link from a stranger or someone untrustworthy - Do not go on suspicious websites or when your antivirus tells you that there is a risk. Someone who got your name can be dangerous, because he can steal your identity online, he can get much personal information about you. (address, telephone number) And after, it’s a possibility to ruin your real life. You maybe want to know how they get the information. It’s really simple, there are two possibilities. The hacker can either put a virus in your computer and get personal information from your computer or he can trap you on a website where he gets your IP and gets information from it.
