ACUTEVENTILATOR The Acuteventilator case is a Swedish made product which is intended to be used instead of the mouth-to-mouth method of resuscitation. The product is approved by the Swedish Medical Products Agency and by the FDA in USA. ACUTEVENTILATOR The case contains an inbuilt air pump, tube, valve unit with filter, together with two face masks, one for adults, one for children. Easy to assemble before use, with the help of the colored markers

ACUTEVENTILATOR After assembling the equipment, make sure the patients air passages are clear. After that, the mask is placed over the patient’s nose and mouth. The lid of the case is then pressed down every 4th second to provide the correct amount of air to the patient.

ACUTEVENTILATOR The pump can be operated by the hand or by the knee, and the user can continue working the pump for a long time without getting tired. No risk of hyperventilation. The case is light and portable.

ACUTEVENTILATOR The mask is designed so that it easily and effectively forms a tight seal over the patient’s mouth and nose. After using the equipment, the mask, tube and valve unit with filter must be changed as a safeguard against infection

ACUTEVENTILATOR If the patient is a child, the inbuilt child safety catch (use the child setting) should be used. The child then receives the correct amount of air.
