 Start slow with basics.  explaining parts of the computer  moving the mouse  clicking once and hitting enter  maximize and minimize  opening and closing programs  changing size, style and color of font  accessing class blog and various links  saving projects

 2 – 4 iPods/iPads - split kids in groups or individually use them during “stations” “small group instruction time” “centers”.  Have brainstorming and planning separate from actually using.  Use for extra practice and enrichment when other work is complete.
