The “Pendulum of Political Opinion” LEFT RIGHT RadicalLiberalModerateConservativeReactionary LOVES extreme change & hates Anything traditional Will do drastic things to Start change. Would like Some changes. Favor Individual Rights & freedoms. Love Weaker Gov’ts run By “the people” Open to change But doesn’t Need it. “Goes with the flow” Favors the traditional. Some changes are ok, as long as they Favor strong Gov’t control. don’t want the “common man” to run things. Drastic! They will Go to extreme lengths to Preserve tradition. Love kings, etc. Think “common man” should NOT hold much power.
