Social Media sites build online communities of people who share interests, activities, jobs, relationships or causes. They are tools that provide a variety of ways for users to interact, connect, message, comment and share content.

Why? Companies have found that social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are great ways to build their business. There are five major uses: –to create brand awareness, –as an online reputation management tool, –learning, research and competitive recon, –for recruiting and partnering, –and as a lead generation tool to find potential business prospects.
