Rule #1 If the noun ends in a vowel, add –s Example: diccionario ► diccionarios

See if you can make this noun plural: Carpeta

Just add –s carpetas

Rule #2 If the noun ends in a consonant, Add –es Example: Papel ► papeles

See if you can make this noun plural: marcador

Just add –es marcadores

Rule #3: If a noun ends in –z, Change –z to –c and add –es. Example: Lápiz ► lapices
