CAPTAIN COOK COMES TO NZ L.I To learn why Captain Cook came to New Zealand and where he went while he was here. STARTER: Make a list of the new things that the Maori and European encountered on the arrival of Abel Tasman in 1642.

The Endeavour

The routes of Captain James Cook's voyages. The first voyage is shown in red, second voyage in green, and third voyage in blue. The route of Cook's crew following his death is shown as a dashed blue line.

Captain Cook Timeline Read the information sheet. Create a timeline of James Cook’s life by putting the key events of his life in the correct order. Include the dates of these events on your timeline.
