Expressing FEELINGS with ESTAR

Review the forms of “estar” below…  Estoy  Estás  Está  Estamos  Están

Examples:  She is worried.- Ella está preocupada. (girls- “a”, boys “o”)  He is nervous.- Él está nervioso.  We are busy.- Estamos ocupados.- (we = plural = “s”)

Contenta  Contento/a  Happy  La nena está contenta.  The baby girl is happy.

Cansado  Cansado/a  Tired  El perro está cansado.  La perra está cansada.  The dog is tired.

Deprimido  Deprimido/a  Depressed  El chico está demprimido.  The boy is depressed.

Emocionado  Emocionado/a  Excited  El hombre está emocionado.  The man is excited.

Triste  Triste  Sad  La niña está triste.  The girl is sad.

Enojado  Enojado/a  Angry  El toro está enojado.  The bull is angry.

Nerviosa  Nervioso/a  Nervous  La mujer está nerviosa.  The woman is nervous.
