Learning Intention: To familiarise you with the contents of a typical group first aid kit.

Success Criteria: By the end of this session everyone should be able to: Identify and state the purpose of 6 commonly-used items from a group first aid kit. Some of you may be able to: Say how mountain/outdoor first aid kits differ from home or workplace first aid kits.

Activities: 1. Discussion: - What is First Aid? - What is different about First Aid in the mountains? - What should you bring? 2. Contents of the group First Aid Kit
