Calin Georgescu SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - The engine for sound growth in the wider Black Sea Region

Calin Georgescu RICH MUNICIPALITIES  RICH REGION

Calin Georgescu Black Sea in the middle of Western attention and a priority for NATO Black Sea a “black hole” for Western strategic research Black Sea during the last 15 years, little time and little political resources were allocated Black Sea only now coming to the attention of “Western Europe”

Calin Georgescu Wider Black Sea Region – The strategic of the West hinterland

Calin Georgescu Arguments for a more active involvement of the West: Continuous involvement of the Wider Black Sea region in the process of assuring democratic stability, economic sustainability and social progress in the Greater Middle East. Assuring an additional platform for the cooperation between USA and EU in a region with common interests. Strengthening the North-Atlantic Alliance capacity to be involved in operations outside the area (see the Great Middle East). Positive engagement of Russia, taking into account its legitimate interests of security, better fulfilled in the conditions of a stable and prosperous neighbourhood than through old zero-sum games. Encouraging a Black Sea regional identity as a valid partner for the West through wise EU-NATO-USA policies and coordinated actions.
