Welcome to College!

In AP classrooms, the focus is not on memorizing facts and figures. Instead you’ll engage in intense discussions, solve problems collaboratively, and learn to write clearly and persuasively.”

More than 90% of 4-year colleges give students credit, advanced placement, or both based on scores on their AP Exams.

Admission officers are beginning to weigh the rigor of high school course work MORE than GPA or test scores CUHSD weighs AP courses 1 point (B = A)

Who Succeeds in AP Courses? Self-motivated students able to manage their time effectively

AP Exams are administered by schools worldwide on set dates each May. Exams usually last around three hours. Each AP Exam contains: Multiple-choice questions Free-response questions
