7 Background on Survey FuelEd, in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), conducted a survey of NASSP members in the fall of 2014 to gain insight into how schools are using digital learning. The results of this survey will be used to help FuelEd improve online and blended learning for students across the nation. NASSP is the leading organization of and voice for middle level and high school principals, assistant principals, and school leaders from across the United States and 35 countries around the world.

14 Meet our Speakers – Middle School 385 (NY) Location: Brooklyn, NY Grades: 6th, 7th and 8 th Biggest Challenges: –Lack of laptops for every student –Many students did not have access to computers at home –High ESL population –Students come into the 6th grade 1 to 2 years behind in mathematical skills –Programming Model(s): LearnBop weekly in the Math Lab after units are introduced to students.
