1995 to Present New Creations is a 501© 3 tax exempt ,charitable and educational organization that was birthed out faith in God which brought about a realization that we had to do more to help the poor and less fortunate. Knowing that an alarming portion of our citizens were homeless, hungry and virtually hopeless, we literally went around town and started picking the homeless up off the street and putting them in a clean room for the night. Some were invited into our homes while we helped the overflow find shelter in inexpensive hotels. This hotel arrangement at the Colonial Hotel brought about our meeting with the owner who also owned apartments on 44th and Redman Ave. We began leasing and using those apartments as transitional living housing. Along with the housing we began helping people find employment and training opportunities. Many were dealing with chemical dependency issues so we began a recovery program designed to help them through the process of sobriety.
