As you may now know in the fashion market there things which may look as an advantage but instead are a disadvantage. For example if you have a lot of products sold but instead of having a growing costumers rate throughout time you instead descend

So what would you think it’s better? Sell 40 products in the first week and then go down 30 the 2 nd 20 the 3 rd Or …… Selling 10 the 1 st week 20 the second and 30 the 3 rd ?

Well if you think small you might recall that the best one is the first one where you sell 40, 30 and then 20 because as a matter of fact they add up to 90 whilst the second adds up to only 60.

If you extend this data to a period of time such as 8 weeks we will end up with: N1:1 st =405th=15 2 nd =306th=10 3 rd =257th=5 4 th =208 th =0 N2: 1 st =10 5 th =50 2 nd =20 6 th =60 3 rd =30 7 th =70 4 th =40 8 th = = =145

These diagrams represent the sales made by Calvin Klein boots to an age average of in 8 weeks with a price in between £15-£20. As you can see from the actual sales graph you realize that it has a negative correlation and as a result the total sales graph as slowly gone upwards instead of soaring upwards. The combined sales graph shows that in the short and long run our age range, price range and choice of clothing may not be a massive hit in the long term run but for a short amount of time may be a major trend. After 8 weeks the sales have increased slowly and less and less people are buying the product. This may not be the greatest trend as it will not last on a long term only a short which is not our target. Alvin Cline biker boots Age Range: 10–14 Price Range: £15 - £20

The combined sales graph shows that in the short and long run our age range, price range and choice of clothing are a major trend. After 8 weeks the sales have constantly gone upwards, not at all down. This is a hot trend that may possibly work in the long run for many more weeks to come.

Alvin Cline biker boots Age Range: Price Range: £15-£20 These diagrams represent the sales made by the Calvin Klein boots to an average year olds in 8 weeks with a price in between £15-£20. As you can see from the actual sales graph you realize that it has a negative correlation and as a result the total sales graph as slowly gone upwards instead of soaring upwards. But also this time there has been 32 to sales instead of the 55 achieved with the price range of £10-£15 The combined sales graph shows that in the short and long run our age range, price range and choice of clothing may not be a massive hit in the long term run but for a short amount of time may be a major trend. After 8 weeks the sales have increased slowly and less and less people are buying the product. This may not be the greatest trend as it will not last on a long term only a short which is not our target. Alvin Cline biker boots Age Range: 10–14 Price Range: £25 - £30

Alvin Cline biker boots Age Range: Price Range: £25-£30 These diagrams represent the sales made by the Calvin Klein boots to an average year olds in 8 weeks with a price in between £25-£30. As seen above, from the actual sales graph this product has a positive correlation and as a result the total sales graph continually progresses upwards. The total sales graph shows that the age choice and the price chosen are a hit, due to sales soaring. After 8 weeks, the sales have gone upwards without fail, showing that we made the right age group and price choice. Compared to previous sales this is a slightly less trend like choice, as sales drop for two weeks and then rise again.

Alvin Cline biker boots Age Range: Price Range: £25-£30 These diagrams represent the sales made by the Calvin Klein boots to an average year olds in 8 weeks with a price in between £25-£30. As we can see this is still the best age to put the trend in sale for as in fact it has a total amount of sales of 132. More than the and PUT TOGETHER which shows how superior the trend is as it also has a positive correlation which means that over a longer period of time it could even sell more products a week giving the company high profit as they won’t have to make another product, meaning less money spent and more gained.
