The Brief: To raise peoples awareness of the importance of recycling the Victoria and Albert museum is putting on a one off fashion show called ‘ Trashion ’. In groups you have been asked to design and make a couture newspaper or plastic bag dress for the ‘paper’ category.

Newspaper Dress:

Design InIn your group you have 30 minutes to create design sketches individually using only fine liners. You You will then look at designs and decide in your group which will work the best.

Key Words Design- an intended plan through a drawing or sketch. Couture- a custom made garment made especially for an event or occasion. Victoria and Albert museum- A London museum that is home to costumes and fashion from the ages until the present day. Innovation- New, exciting ideas and thoughts.
