Arts Award and music inclusion… can accredit the work you are already delivering – whether freelancer or organisation accessible measures and supports each individual’s personal progress – flexible timescale accessible for young people who face barriers to learning or who may not be able to access other qualifications evidence can be collected in a range of formats, meaning that non-verbal or less confident communicators can be supported to achieve the qualification

Art of Engagement Unitas Youth Offending Teams Total 1821 young people, aged 14-19, Overall 80% young people completed programme (30-50% other ETE programmes) Of these, 96% achieved Arts Award. For 80% of those who achieved Arts Award it was their first qualification Over two thirds of the young people who completed the SAC programme increased their literacy and numeracy skills (70% for literacy and 69% for numeracy).
