(Gen. 28: 10-22) Jacob had a dream. A ladder from earth reaching heaven with angels ascending and descending. God presented himself to Jacob as God of Abraham and Isaac. The invitation is also given to Jacob.

1.The name Jacob means supplanter, conniver, deceiver. 2. Jacob must acknowledge God to enter Heaven like Abraham and Isaac.

Like all men, we must acknowledge God to enter Heaven. There is an open Heaven to anyone who will climb the Ladder. Who is the Ladder? It is Jesus Christ. JOHN 1:51, ACTS 4:12 We have access to the presence of God.

God’s Covenant with Jacob. (VS ) 1.We also must have a Covenant with God. (HEB. 13:5) 2.We must continue climbing the Ladder. (2 PETER 3:8, HEB. 6:1, 9) 3.God wants us to know more about the character of Jesus. (2 PETER 1:5-7)

We must make our call and election sure. We will be fruitful and will not stumble. (2 PETER 1: 11) We can only proclaim the Glory we can only proclaim the glory of God (PSA. 29:9) if we have experienced the love of God (PSA. 48:9, 1 COR. 1:31)

The ministry of Angels is ascending and descending. (HEB.1:13-14) Jacob’s Covenant with God (GEN. 28:20-22) Why did he commit His tenth to the Lord? The tithe is Holy. It is the Lord’s property. (LEV. 27:30, 32)

If we keep our Covenant with God, we will never be in want. Can we trust God with our possessions? The natural first, then the Spiritual (1 COR. 15:44, LUKE 16:11-13)
