Aims and Objectives To present the progress of the Group-8 Project of producing a Booklet about wireless technologies and a SL showcase. To assess the current status of the project. To receive any feedback about the project.

Finalising PROJECT INITIATION DOCUMENT (PID) Release date: Objectives: To state project objectives: To deliver a set of artefacts presented by a booklet and a Second Life showcase that should educate the user about the general aspects of the different wireless technologies currently in use To defined method of approach Prince2 methodology To set the project scope Limited to producing the booklet and developing the Second Life showcase

Finalising PROJECT INITIATION DOCUMENT (PID) Objectives: To indicate Project Deliverables To deliver a set of artefacts presented by a booklet and a Second Life showcase that should educate the user about the general aspects of the different wireless technologies currently in use To define any exclusions Specific techniques of wireless network are not included in the booklet Constraints Team commitment Time Research facilities Furthermore, the SL Showcase should not exceed the 50 prims

Finalising HIGHLIGHT REPORT Problems and Risk Update Actual: Meeting time and place Member left the group Potential: Technical issues when using Second Life Products to be completed An A5-size booklet educating the general public about the different aspects of the current usages of wireless technologies. A Second Life showcase that explains the content of the booklet on a screen in the showcase that the guests can see and browse through.

Booklet and SecondLife Current Status: Booklet is finalised and ready to publish: All set objectives are met Members and Board are satisfied with outcomes SecondLife building showcase at final stage The conception have been decided on The settings building have been started

Conclusion The progress of the project has been good with no drastic diversion from the specified plan. The consequences of withdrawal of one group member has been contented fast. Group team work and harmony is a privilege for Group-8. The booklet is well designed and contains all the required details. A few steps remaining for the final project finalisation.
