Getting Started!

What should you have done? During the past 35 days you should have: Identified your activities. Obtained contact information for the assessor of each activity component. Passed the information to your leader. Had your activities approved by your leader. How many of you have completed the above? All activities must be started by 15 th December 2014

Registration Pack The contents of your pack are as follows: A welcome letter with your registration details. The ‘Little Book’ of DofE. A ‘Keeping Track’ booklet. Assessor’s Guidance notes cards (4). Expedition safety card. Cotswold ‘Discount Card’. A piece of white paper. A plastic wallet.

The Next Registration Step! 1.Complete personal details. 2.Read the ‘Little Book of DofE’. 3.Read the ‘Keeping Track’ booklet. 4.Sign in to eDofE, change your password, update your security settings and complete the required information fields. 5.You are now ready to start!

Getting Started Once your activities have been approved by your leader you can get started. In order to start you will need to complete the following: Discuss a start date with your assessor. Agree a timescale with your assessor. Complete an initial meeting with your assessor to discuss your goals for the activity. Give your assessor their ‘Guidance Notes’ card. Update your section details on eDofE. Get started! Update your eDofE on a weekly basis.

Gathering Evidence Each time that you complete a session you should upload some evidence onto your eDofE system. Make notes, take photo’s or even take videos, the more the better. Use the ‘eDofE User Guide for Participants’ booklet to help you through this process.

Drop in Sessions! These will take place in A9 on a Wednesday from 12:30pm to 12:50pm. Or you can find me after school on Mon/Wed/Fri (Next Session: 26/11/14)
