Triangular Prism Volume

The formula V= Bh B = the area of the base The base is a triangle so, B = 1/2bh So, V = (1/2bh) x height of the prism

How to find: Following the formula V=Bh 1. Find B by doing 1/2bh 2. Multiply this by the height of the prism

Example A triangular prism has a height of 10 inches. The triangular base’s length is 2 inches and it’s height is 4 inches. Find the volume of the triangular prism. V = Bh B = 1/2bh B= ½ (2x4) B=4 V = 4 x 10 V= 40 cubic inches

You try A triangular prism has a height of 20 inches. Its triangular base has a length of 6 inches and a height of 3 inches. Find the volume of the triangular prism.
