ANVESHNA Fun-filled science class

My First Day I joined Anveshna 2 weeks late. So my first class was a night out. First we discussed about what we will do. Then sir made two groups, Bose and Einstein and told us to go and bring some examples of water available in the pond. We also launched a hot air balloon.

1 st Month We made a dancing doll, which was very nice.the next week, we made a kaliedeoscope with 3 triangular pieces of mirrors & broken bangles.

Excursions [outings] 1. We went to the National Museum. We saw many things about science. And in the end we saw a 3D movie. 2. We went to Sultanpur Bird Century. We saw many birds. We also saw rare species of Cranes.

What All We Did 1. We made a windmill and learnt how the real windmill works. 2. We had a treasure hunt, we all had compass and a sheet with instructions. The treasure was a dairy milk chocolate. 3. We studied the differences between concave and convex lenses. 4. We had a talk about robotics. 5. We made a boat which is my favorite. 6. We made stethoscope which really worked.

Chemistry We did a lot of fun activities in chemistry. It was also challenging to handle as we are kids. We did –bread + iodine =bread turns black, starch is present in bread.
