Miss Dixon’s Special Mentions this week are for… Layla and Dewey!

Dewey can talk about feelings, behaviour and consequences. He knows that some behaviour is unacceptable. Dewey works as part of a group or class. He understands and follows rules. He can change his behaviour for different situations. Dewey plays co ‐ operatively, taking turns with others. He takes account of his friend’s ideas. Dewey shows sensitivity to others’ needs and feelings and has made lots of friends since starting school. Dewy is confident to try new activities and say why he likes some activities more than others. Dewy is confident to speak in his group. He talks about his ideas, and can choose the resources he needs for his activities. He can say when he does or doesn’t need help.

Layla has used capital I. She has remembered the ‘ee’ sound. Layla has put full stops at the end of her sentences. She has used her sounds to have a go at spelling tricky words like astronaut and rocket!
