Kate’s Crates are gift baskets that are delivered to the BI-LO Charities Children’s Cancer Center. A day or two after a teenager is informed of their cancer diagnosis, they are given a crate. Mrs. Landreth has informed me that NHS needs a way to receive service hours, so you guys will be donating items for the crates! In the crates (there are 2 different kinds- One crate for boys and one for girls), there are items such as… WHAT IS KATE'S CRATES?

BODY WASH AND LUFFA the Bath and Body Works drugstore

HEADPHONES Target I understand these do get a bit pricy, so feel free to buy whatever you can that’s within your budget, but please make sure they are of good quality.

GIFT CARDS These can all come From Walmart, CVS, etc

HATS These are both sporting good stores.These are both Academy Sports Women’s Men’s I understand these do get a bit pricy, so feel free to buy whatever you can that’s within your budget, but please make sure they are of good quality.

WATER BOTTLE You don’t have to buy this specific water bottle or brand, but this particular water bottle is $15 at Target.

LIP BALM For the girls For the guys These are either $3 or $4 at any drugstore

These blankets are made by the women’s prayer group at Calvary Baptist Church in Williamston. BLANKETS

If for any reason you cannot buy these items, there are plenty of other items that can be donated, such as… Hard candy (tic tacs, chewing gum) Hand sanitizer/ lotion Movies that teenagers would enjoy Teen appropriate books and magazines Or if you have any other suggestions, feel free to contact me or Mrs. Landreth to ask if your suggestion would be useful.
