RTI RDS E-I-E-I-O

How Does it All Fit Together? ToolPurposeUser RDS RTIHouses student Tier 2 plans; Plans will follow student across schools RTI team mCLASS RTI ToolTracks student growth within intervention based on PM data RTI team; grade level team Quick PadTakes in student grouping and attendance data to inform mClass RTI Tool RTI team; Anyone doing intervention AIMSwebScreening tool for grade 3; PM tool; Growth data chart RTI team, grade level team

Results of a Quick Review Data can be accessed from most schools that have the mCLASS RTI tool set up. PM is occurring in most instances. 24% of elementary and K-8 schools were accurately using successive probes and clear PM schedule. The average time between MOY and begin of intervention was 4.5 weeks.

Let’s take a Look

Next Steps District support to help keep eye on moving parts Monthly reviews of data and feedback

Required Questions for Examining Student Growth Has instructional and intervention program been provided with fidelity? Who has observed this directly? How was the person performing intervention trained? Has student attendance been acceptable? Is core instruction also being provided in reading? Or, is student missing core instruction? Does instruction and intervention address student skill deficits? What other factors could be impacting student performance? Has the person assessing and instructing the student been consistent?
