Presentational VS Informational Power Points

Two Types of Power Points Informational Informational All the information is on the slide. A person can just read the Power Point, and it gives all the pertinent information. (Think about the Power Points that I post on the Internet. Informational!) Presentational Presentational The information is given by a speaker. The slide gives organizers or visuals to assist the speaker and audience. The slide is there to reinforce what the presenter is saying.

Which kind was that last slide? 1. Did it give all the information? 2. Did I just basically read the slide to you? 3. Did you need to focus on what I said to get information? 4. Did it increase your understanding of what I said by ADDING to what was said. Okay, let’s try this again….

Two Types of Power Points One type: Informational Other type: Presentational
