General Idea Being safe in the kitchen is a big part of growing up. As kids grow up they become more interested in what is going on around the house. So to make sure you have a safe kitchen for exploring children, follow all the steps brought up in this PowerPoint.

Environment To prevent burns, make sure the stove is always off, or even better purchase a stove with burners that don’t burn skin. Always keep the dishwasher locked, because its tall door, that could open and hit the child, and so kids cant get inside of it.

Education As a parent you should know about how to make your kitchen safe. You should look up stats, and how-to videos on how to make the kitchen in your house, as safe as you can. Make sure you can learn as much as you can, you can learn something new everyday.
