Instrument 1. Integrated Project „ South East European Regions2020” Will establish Formula Europa VET Centers (at least 3) in the SEE Region 2. Will improve the regional and local governments capacity for strategic planning and strategic management 3. Will open avenue towards broad public discussions (on-line platform 2012 Will assist the regional and local governments in their 2013 – 2020 strategic planning Instrument 1. Objectives: Overall goal of the project is to prepare the regional and local governments in SEE (the newest and future EU member – countries) for sufficient planning and public management reflecting ‘Europe 2020” Strategy objectives. The Project will impact the public debate in each of the countries in the Region focused on regionalization and building strong regional economies.

“SEE Regions 2020” Project / Results expected: 1. MoUs signed between Ministries of RD in the SEE countries and EU regional governments with good practices in the field of regional development 2. Minimum 5 Formula Europa VET Centers in strategic public management opened in the countries of SEE 3. A new quality of knowledge in strategic public management in the Region of SEE Imported via:  Minimum 5000 mid - level decision – makers in public sector in the SEE Region trained in modern strategic management in the field of regional development  Minimum 100 high – level decision makers in public sector trained in modern leadership & strategic management in the field of regional development  Minimum 300 decision-makers in private & third sector trained in leadership & strategic management in the field of regional development  Regional governmental bodies trained in modern culture of partnership and resources’ mobilization 4. Regional strategic planning reflecting “Europe 2020” Strategy in the EU newest and future member – countries improved 6. Conditions for building strong regional economies in the Region of SEE improved and SEE Region’s economic development improved 7. EU’s South East border territories strengthen 8. EU newest and future member-countries ability for smooth integration improved
