Tom Oliver was on vacation with his family. His wife and children were in the hotel pool when Tom got a phone call to meet at the space station. When he hung up, his wife Kim walked over, “Who was that?” Kim asked. “Oh, it was Anton. He’s on a business trip, and he wants me to show him around,” Tom lied. Kim believed this and went back to the pool. Tom grabbed the keys to his jeep and drove to the space station.

Tom pulled up to hanger thirty-five and got out. When he walked in, the new Red Protector asked who he was. “That’s Tom, the Red Zeo Protector,” TJ the Red Turbo Protector explains. After introductions, they were ready to board the Astro Megaship Mark 2. Before they boarded the Megaship, they waited for Jase, the First Red Protector, to arrive.

“I don’t understand why you guys are afraid of the females on your team,” Cole says sitting across from Tom. “You are lucky, Rookie, that you never had to deal with the fury of the females on your team, it seems like it’s some weird power genetics for the females because when the fury comes out one word----run!” Jase tells him. “I feel really bad for you, guys” Cole said. “Well, Tom here has kids, and Kimberly, the original Pink Protector is the twin’s mom,” Jason tells him while they get ready to land on the moon.

While the Reds were fighting evil on the moon, the females got together at the space station. Kim flew to the space station with the children. She is as angry as a bull at Tom because he lied to her. As they fly, the twins tell their mom how the man at space station told Tom not to bring all the Protectors. Kim knew her twins had used their mental telepathy.

Kim pulled up to see the other females there. While their mother was talking, the twins ran off to find their father. “Daddy!” Both twins yelled running up to their father and hugging him. “Jason and Trinity did you run off without telling your mother?” Tom scolded, but hugged his twins back. The twins told him about how their mom was talking to the other females.

Tom let his twins meet the other Red Protectors until the females arrived. The female Protectors surround the ten Reds, and the Red Alien Protector. They get escorted out of the circle by the three female Protectors. Tom, Kim, and the twins went back to the hotel.

The next day there was a cookout. At the cookout, the twins were the center of attention. Jason and Trinity were playing with a ball they had brought. Then Jason tripped, and there was a loud snap of a bone breaking. “Jason!” Trinity yells, running over to her brother. Tom and Kim run over to check on their son. Their friend Billy, the first Blue Protector, says that the Protectors who were Ninjetti will use their powers to fix the bone.

Trinity followed to be with her brother. Tommy laid his son down on the couch in the living room and asked Trinity to hold down her brother’s leg while the Ninjetti used their powers. There was a flash of light and in the place of the twins was a dark green light. Kim fainted from shock and hit the floor with a loud Bang! After waking Kim up, Billy explained how the twins got their powers, Jason has the power of an eagle and Trinity has the power of a hawk.

After telling everyone the good news, the grownups played a game of softball. “Go mom and dad!” both twins yelled. Billy got up to bat and hit a home run. Everyone cheered for Billy because he wasn’t really athletic. Tom and Kim decided to teach the twins how to fly since their animal spirits are birds like their parents. Tom has the spirit of a falcon, and Kim has the spirit of a crane.

Later that night, Tom and Kim made a bonfire and the twins fell asleep on the blanket that was brought out for them. Tom and Kim smiled and knew everything would be okay.

Lesliann Liskooka is a sophomore at the Lawrence County Career and Technical center. Lesliann is enrolled in the Commercial Art program. Lesliann is from the New Castle Area School District. I wrote this book because I love the Power Rangers.
