A transportation that flies. Airplanes!
What is an airplane? An airplane is a fixed wing vehicle that flies through the air. Airplanes can have jet engines or a propeller driver.
How do airplanes fly? An airplane must be in constant motion- its wings slicing through rushing air to create lift-in order to stay up; moving air is also required to steer it. In other words, a plane cannot fly without the power of its engines thrusting it through the air.
… Also … Small airplanes generally use piston engines, which turn propellers that push the aircraft through the air in the same way that a boat propellers push vessels through the water.
How do wings help airplanes fly? Airplanes are able to lift into the air and stay there because of the shape of their wings.
… And … An airplane wing is flat on the bottom and curved on the top.
… also … A plane’s engines push it forward and air divides to travel around its wings.
… finally … The air that passes over the larger curved top moves faster than the air that passes under the flat bottom.
The End!
