And Pharm. Is funded in 1967 by our president Mr. Chin Tsai Fan. Our head quarter is located in Tainan, Taiwan. Our sales turnover in 2006 was 51 million US dollars, making us the 4th largest generic pharmaceutical company in Taiwan. Our business scope includes ethical and OTC drugs, APIs, medical devices and as well as health food supplements.

In 1985, we passed the GMP inspection and became a GMP certified pharmaceutical company. In 1993, one of our subsidiaries, Stason was established in US In 1998, we were ISO 9001 certified In year 2000, we were the first company in Taiwan that passed the US FDA inspection. 2004 we upgraded our standards and became CGMP certified This year, our aim is to file our first ANDA in US.

Chinese Herbal Medicine, 2006 Sales Turnover Total :51 million (USD) Ethical & OTC Drugs 43 million This is the distribution of our sale turnover in 2006. Out of the 51 million revenue generated in 2006, 84% came from our ethical and OTC drugs. And the remaining 16% came from the rest of the departments. Annual Sales 1994~2006 51 48 19.6 Year US$ Million US$1=NT$33 This is showing our annual increase over the past 10 years. As you can see, our sales revenue more than triples in the past 10 years, from 19.6 mil to 51 mil last year. This means Standard is a very stead and stable company and a perfect candidate for strategic partnership. 19.6 Year

Pharmaceutical Department Clinics (~6500, 80%) PSR:85 This is the distribution of our sales representatives. There are 540 hospitals in Taiwan, including medical centers, district hospitals, and local hospitals. We have dedicated 70 sales representatives to cover all the hospitals in Taiwan. There are around 6500 clinics in Taiwan and we have about 85 sales representatives which covered about 80% of the clinics in Taiwan. Next there are about 3000 drug stores in Taiwan and because of our focus on the ethical drugs instead of the OTC drugs, we only have about 45 sales representatives who covered about 45% of the drug stores. We have a partnerships with some of the famous International companies such as Bayer and Quaker for both ethical drugs and health food supplements. What’s worth mentioning is that we have been partner with Kyoto Daiichi for nearly 20 years by now. They are now called ARKRAY Inc. This shows that we are a very dependable company. This year we have just closed a deal with TOWA Pharmaceutical company of which we will provide an OEM service for one of their liquid products.
