Fireworks By: Sivan Shriki

History Fire works originated in China Fire works were first shown in public in the 7 th century The Chinese at first used gun powder for their fire works Then a British man found out about this and then let other people know The Chinese are now respected and considered experts regarding fire works Most Chinese fireworks are illegal for personal use in the USA

Celebrating with Fire Works The opening ceremony at the Olympics begins with a torch lighting and fireworks And fireworks at the closing ceremony Many cities around the world have firework festivals during the summer months These festivals are pretty much all over India and United Kingdom, America In Great Britain they celebrate Guy Fawkes day on November 5 th with large firework displays

American Fire Works vs British Fire Works The British fire works are much safer than American due to safety regulations. Currently they have like 3 categories. The American have about 30, it’s crazy The British fire works are meant for gardens and small areas The American are meant for huge areas with huge fire works Ironically the British were some of the first people to use fire works, after the Chinese, and are the most conservative.
