Title II Update This year’s reporting covers testing year and only Praxis and OPI/WPT test scores are reported. Next year’s report will include Praxis, OPI/WPT, and OAE scores. Testing companies will work with Pearson to facilitate this transition.

Future Educators of America The 2014 FEA-Ohio Conference was held at The University of Findlay. The 2015 FEA-Ohio Conference will be held at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in March.
Resident Educator Program A Transformative Journey through four years of mentoring and support
Resident Educator Program Resident Educator Summative Assessment Ohio’s RESA is in the first year of implementation. Approximately 3,300 Year 3 Resident Educators are completing RESA tasks.
Resident Educator Program The deadline for RESA task submissions has been extended to June 1, 2014 due to the inclement weather. Resident Educators may re-take individual tasks of the RESA in Year 4.
Resident Educator Program RESA Handbook is available on the ODE website and at: Eligible resident educators in their third year may be registered for the assessment by their program coordinator or wait until their fourth year of the program.
Evaluation of the Resident Educator Program Evaluation is being conducted by OERC. ODE will distribute more than 25,000 surveys to Resident Educators, RE program coordinators, principals and RE mentors. Survey findings are used to make program improvements.
Evaluation of the Resident Educator Program Initial evaluation findings over the RE program’s inaugural three years are forthcoming in the fall 2014.
