Marketplace Marketplace- Where people buy and sell goods and services.

Marketplace A supermarket is one type of marketplace. Shoppers visit a supermarket to buy food products.

Producer Producer- A person who grows, makes, or sells goods.

Producer A restaurant cook is one kind of producer. Consumers visit restaurants in order to buy prepared foods.

Goods Goods- Things that can be bought and sold.

Goods A toy truck is one kind of good that can be purchased. A toy can be purchased at a toy store or shopping mall.

Services Services- Work done for others.

Services A hair dresser provides a service to his or her customers. A hair dresser cuts, colors, or styles hair. A hair dresser works in a beauty salon or barber shop.

Consumer Consumer- A person who buys and uses goods and services.

Consumer Anyone who spends money is a consumer! Americans are BIG consumers!
