Eleanor's childhood Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October 11,1884 in New York City, New York. Eleanor was the oldest of two other siblings. She was also the only girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Eleanor married her fifth cousin Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 17,1905 in New York City, New York. Eleanor and Franklin both wanted woman to be treated fairly. Years after they got married Franklin became the president of the United States of America.

A hard time A couple months after he became president Franklin got a dieses called polio where he could not move any more. So when he had to go to a speech Eleanor was called his eyes and ears.

She will be remembered Eleanor died on November 7, 1962 in Manhattan, New York City, NY. Even Know Eleanor died she is still remembered as a great first lady.
