Step 2 Cut Styrofoam pieces to fit inside and fill the basket forms. Oasis or other foam can also be used. *estimate about one sheet of Styrofoam per form. * if using soaked oasis the form will be very heavy. Step 5 Sheet moss works great here as it can be wrapped around the wire basket and very little pinning is required. Large leaves would also be a fun medium used to cover the wire form. *One box of sheet moss will cover approximately 2 large 18” or 3 medium 12” forms. Good Stuff to Know ~ Time estimation of one completed pomander is anywhere from 30 minutes for fairly simple floral up to one hour for more detailed designs. Cost of base materials is about $30 with retail cost of floral ranging from $30 for 15 stems of Gerberas on up.
