Potting Soil Should be Sterilized/Pasteurized Moisten soil until it holds its shape when you squeeze a ball of it. Place in metal pan and cover with metal lid or foil Heat in oven set at 350°F Heat until temperature reaches 180°F for at least 30 minutes Do not heat above 195°F (Use a meat thermometer to check)
