OPTION #3 DOLLAR REDESIGN PROJECT Visit this site: The dollar bill has not changed in over 50 years. Many graphic designers find it to be overly complicated (there are tons of fonts being used), overly decorated, boring, irrelevant and just plain out of style. You could choose someone important to American history, an event, a symbol, some kind of way to represent this country on something that all of its citizens use on a daily or weekly basis. Browse the examples on the site above, but you may also want to look at some examples of other (cooler) currency around the world. Use what you know about Photoshop and design principles (balance, harmony, clean, flat, etc) to create a truly interesting and effective design for our country’s currency. Be sure to do a front and back for the bill that you choose.

OPTION 3: DOLLAR REDESIGN GRADING  PHOTOGRAPHY / FILTERS/ 15  Photography is used appropriately for the picture of you and any other items you wish to include  LAYERS/ 15  You use at least 5 different layers for your collage; opacity is used wisely  TYPOGRAPHY / 15  Typography is used appropriately and creatively to present the movie from the whole composition.  PROFESSIONALISM/ 15  Layers are clean and cut-outs aren’t rough. It is original, creative, and not just a copy of what’s already been done by someone else. There is balance and harmony. TOTAL/ 60
