Chinese Checkers by Ethan Chang & Cyrus Dastangoo

What is Chinese Checkers? Chinese Checkers is a board game that is also a popular Chinese pastime It was created in Germany as a game called "Stern-Halma", which was called "Hop Ching Checkers" in the US and later "Chinese Checkers" by the Pressman Company In the game, there are 2-6 different color teams that play at once (except 5) A Hop Ching Checkers board

How to Play Objective: Get all ten pieces to the opposite side (to fill the triangle) Pieces can either be moved by... A single move to adjacent hole in any direction (green piece) A hop or multiple hops over adjacent pieces, including their pieces or their opponent's pieces (red pieces) With 2 or more players, the players can make the game more fun by creating teams, or even playing for more than one color. Possible Moves

Variations Fast-paced, or Super Chinese Checkers is played where hops can be made over multiple empty spaces and hop over non- adjacent spaces Capture Chinese Checkers is similar to checkers, where you hop over other pieces to capture them, but the person with the most pieces wins Also, all color pieces are used in the capture mode, and all players can use any pieces they want
