Do you like helping animals? Of course!! Well, NJHS has a fantastic opportunity for doing just that! Awesome!! What is it? NJHS is hosting a pet drive for the Lost Our Home Shelter and the Arizona Humane Society from March 11 – 25! How does it work? Each grade will bring in items like paper towels, dog treats, blankets, etc. Oh, I remember this! We got a flyer about who should bring what yesterday. We did. K-1 bring in paper towels 2nd grade dog treats

3rd grade cat treats. But no catnip That’s right, catnip makes them sick. 4th grade has cat toys and 5th grade is dog toys Now 6th and 7th are partnering to bring in new or lightly used towels While 8th grade needs to bring in new or lightly used blankets, any size. Hey, what about the staff? Good catch. They are bringing in bleach and disinfectant wipes

Signs are up in the buildings to remind you what to bring. Is this a competition? Buildings B C and D will compete but the 8th grade will be competing against staff. When does this start again? Tomorrow! Please, bring in the pet items!
