It’s been pretty quiet for the last couple months at the wetland. Today about a dozen Canadian Geese returned at low altitude right over my head – thus the rear shot – again!
When you take the time to just look and enjoy the lands aside from the wildlife, beauty is peeking out from many hidden places…
Flying in for a little morning fishing between the sailboats.
Three heron were out fishing this morning. I’m still waiting for the young to appear. Activity around the wetlands area is picking up. Lots of little ducks and geese and birds by the hundreds creating clouds in the sky that cast shadows when they fly over. Three heron were out fishing this morning. Mukilteo Light House
Old gas station on Gunnysack Hill. Named such because folks used to tie gunnysacks on their tires in the winter snow to make it up the long, gradual incline.
