The intent of this standard is for students to be able to locate major physical features in or near Australia using a world and regional political- physical map. a. Locate on a world and regional political-physical map: the Great Barrier Reef, Coral Sea, Ayers Rock, and Great Victoria Desert. ELEMENTARY STANDARD SS1G3 The student will locate major topographical features of the earth’s surface. a. Locate all of the continents: North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Antarctica, and Australia.
